United in marriage on 9.13.08
I had the pleasure of photographing Elizabeth and Matthew's wedding a couple of weeks ago at the beautiful Taughannock Falls State Park, in Ithaca, NY. They held their reception at the Taughannock Fall Inn. This has become a very popular place for weddings, my third one this wedding season alone. I have to say I've been crazy busy with weddings every weekend so I'm a little late with posting up Elizabeth & Matt's wedding images. So please come back and visit my blog again for more posting. This is the third time I have photographed a wedding with one or the other couple has a twin...... can you tell who's who?
Testomonal from Elizabeth: Matt and I wanted to write to you to let you know how extraordinarily happy we are with how the wedding photos came out. I am generally not happy with how I look in photos, but you managed to capture so many special moments where I am happy and comfortable because I don't feel like I am posing for a camera. Both you and your second photographer were very patient, easy, and fun to work with. Even taking a large group shot went smoothly - thank you so much for making that happen. The special trip we made to the falls was wonderful. Since I grew up in the area, they will be a great reminder of both our wedding and home for many years to come. I could not be any more pleased with how they day went - thank you so much for making our memories so, so beautiful!!
Even though it had been raining all day, we still decided on meeting and going for it... With my busy schedule and with Mimi and Franklin driving all the way up from NJ for the weekend it was pretty much a given anyways. So, with that said, what better place for photos of your engagement then the place you both meet and attended college at. Cornell University I would say that 98% of all my wedding clients have meet at Cornell. They then graduate, move away and then return back to the area to marry here or other amazing locations around the finger lake area. Well, it had been raining non stop all day, so we thought we would just meet up and find some indoor locations for our session. At the time of our meeting it did stop raining, which aloud us to walk around campus to Mimi and Franklin's favorite locations. By some miracle it held off raining the entire time until we where all finished, then it started pouring....... Welcome to CNY
